Good Muslims should avoid all forms of dishonesty. Don't lie, not even little 'white lies'. Don't cheat or help others cheat. Keep your promises. Admit when you have done something wrong. Always return things you borrow to its rightful owner.
Honesty is always the best policy. If you are honest, people know that they can trust you.
